The European Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (EHIMA) today announced the consolidated sales figures of its member companies for the year 2024. The data reveals a continued upward trend in demand for professionally fitted hearing instruments, signaling increasing awareness of hearing health and the benefits of modern hearing technologies.

According to EHIMA’s latest data, member companies collectively sold 22.69 million hearing aids in 2024, marking a 4% increase compared to 2023. This growth underscores the ongoing efforts to address hearing loss through early intervention and accessible audiological care.

“We are pleased to see a continued rise in the uptake of hearing instruments, which confirms that people are increasingly prioritizing their hearing health,” said Peter Karlströmer, the newly elected President of EHIMA. “Our member companies remain committed to innovating for better hearing and supporting public health initiatives that promote early diagnosis and treatment.”

EHIMA represents the world’s leading manufacturers of hearing instruments. All EHIMA member companies are dedicated to high-quality solutions that are fitted by hearing care professionals to meet individual needs. The consistent sales growth also reflects improved access to hearing care services in many regions and the increasing role of hearing devices in promoting healthy aging.
